Job description

Summary of Job:

We are seeking a skilled Generator Field Service Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators, along with a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills. The Generator Field Service Technician will be responsible for servicing a variety of generator models and brands in the states of Tennessee (TN) and Alabama (AL), ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably for our customers.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Generator Field Service Technician (GENERAC) or similar role

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Familiarity with generator models and brands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work in tight spaces.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
