Job description

D2B Groups is seeking a skilled Diesel Generator Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generators across various client sites. You will ensure the reliable operation of backup power systems, working closely with clients to provide superior service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, inspection, and maintenance of diesel generators and related equipment on customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to diagnose and repair generator faults.
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and longevity.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and logs for all field activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the technical team and communicate clearly with clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with diesel generators, preferably in a field service capacity.
