  • Managing employees, including hiring, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and day-to-day guidance
  • Delivering and maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Overseeing inventory management, including ordering, merchandising, and distributor relationships
  • Managing budgets, including supplies, payroll, utilities, and other operational expenses
  • Supporting dog care and safety throughout the facility
  • Assisting with social media, including client correspondence and content creation
  • Managing appointment requests and related client communication
  • Creating schedules, covering shifts when needed, and ensuring proper staffing coverage at all times
  • Creating and executing plans to meet goals set by ownership, including retail sales, budget targets, and overall business performance
  • Helping maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
  • Ensuring guests and their owners feel comfortable and receive the level of service they’ve come to expect from The Dog Stop
Necessary Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail and customer service
  • At least 2 years of employee management experience
  • At least 2 years of dog care experience
  • Comfortable handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
