Prime Car Wash is a rapidly growing, full-service car wash built on operational excellence, strong leadership, and an exceptional guest experience. We operate with high standards, high energy, and a clear commitment to developing people and promoting from within. We are currently hiring a General Manager in Training for our Indianapolis market. This role offers a defined path to General Manager within 6–12 months based on performance, leadership development, and results. This is a hands-on leadership position designed for individuals who want to build a career in operations management and lead a high-performing team.

Position Summary

The General Manager in Training will work alongside experienced leadership to learn all aspects of operating a Prime Car Wash location. This role combines operations management, team leadership, sales performance coaching, and guest experience oversight. You will be developed to ultimately oversee a team of 30–40 employees while driving operational efficiency, profitability, and a strong culture of accountability.
Operations Leadership
·       Execute daily operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality
·       Maintain property cleanliness and operational standards
·       Ensure exceptional guest experiences and resolve customer concerns
Team Development
·       Recruit, interview, hire, and train team members
·       Coach and develop performance across sales and operations
·       Lead team huddles and manager meetings with clarity and purpose
·       Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture
Performance & Financial Management
·       Utilize KPIs to guide daily, weekly, and monthly planning
·       Support scheduling and labor management
·       Assist with location payroll and damage claim processes 
·       Monitor, motivate and coach sales team and drive membership and quality growth
·       Manage inventory and chemical ordering 
Administrative & Systems
·       Operate POS and wash-related systems
·       Ensure accurate cash handling and store opening/closing procedures
·       Support light maintenance coordination and equipment uptime
 
Qualifications

·       2–3+ years of leadership or management experience (retail, restaurant, or service industry preferred)
·       Proven ability to lead teams and drive measurable performance results
·       Strong organizational and communication skills
·       Comfortable coaching employees and holding standards
·       Data-driven mindset with attention to KPIs and operational metrics
·       Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule & Physical Requirements

·       Full-time, 5 days per week, 363 days per year
·       Operating hours: 8 AM–8 PM Mon-Sat, 8 AM-7 PM Sun
·       Rotating schedule including opening, mid, and closing shifts
·       Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
·       Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
·       Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
