Job Title: General Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)
Location: Lewisville, Texas
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 DOE
Overview:
Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving operational excellence in the chemical manufacturing industry? Look no further! We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our client’s chemical mixing & blending facility in Lewisville, Texas. Their facility specializes in the production of cleaning chemicals for the HVAC industry, as well as bottling and packaging oils and lubricants used in the same sector. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, including facilities management, production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the overall success of the facility.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Manage a diverse team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement facility-wide policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to introduce new products and improve existing formulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Lead facility modernization projects, including equipment upgrades and process automation.
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, including capital expenditures and operating expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, including mixing, blending, and packaging.
