Job description

DiSabatino Construction, an equal opportunity employer, is looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and/or multifamily construction projects.

Our Superintendents run the jobsite. You are responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining schedule, enforcing safety, and ensuring quality from start to finish. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to keep work moving and maintain control of the project in the field.

What You’ll Own

Field Leadership

·       Lead all day-to-day field operations on assigned projects

·       Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, materials, and site logistics

·       Set the tone on site for safety, quality, and productivity

·       Keep the job organized, efficient, and moving forward

Scheduling and Coordination

·       Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager

·       Run subcontractor meetings and daily coordination as needed

·       Identify and resolve conflicts before they impact the schedule

·       Communicate clearly with all parties to keep work aligned

Safety and Quality

·       Enforce all safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite at all times

·       Monitor work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes

·       Maintain high standards of workmanship across all trades

Field Documentation and Support

·       Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and project documentation

·       Track field changes, extra work, and jobsite conditions

·       Support the Project Manager in managing change orders and reporting

How This Role Works Here

·       You are responsible for field execution. The Project Manager handles financials and contracts

·       Estimating is handled separately, so you can stay focused on running the job

·       You will have direct access to leadership when decisions need to be made quickly

·       Projects vary in size, and expectations are aligned accordingly

What We’re Looking For

·       5 to 10 plus years of experience supervising commercial construction projects

·       Strong ability to read drawings, specifications, and schedules

·       Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades

·       Solid understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics

·       Strong communication skills and a direct, professional approach

·       OSHA certification and commitment to jobsite safety

Compensation and Benefits

·       Competitive pay based on experience

·       Health and life insurance

·       401k with company match

·       Paid time off and holidays

  • Long-term opportunity with a stable, family-owned company

Why DiSabatino

We are a hands-on, family-led builder with a strong reputation in the region. Our Superintendents are trusted to run their jobs and are supported by leadership that stays involved and makes decisions. If you take pride in running a clean, safe, and organized jobsite, you will fit in well here.
