The Christman Company is looking for a VDC Coordinator who will support our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) efforts across projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of relevant experience looking to take the next step in their construction technology career with a national leader in the industry.

As a VDC/BIM Coordinator, you'll assist in delivering BIM and VDC services throughout the planning, construction, and close-out phases of our projects. You'll work closely with VDC Managers, project teams, trade contractors, and design partners to support successful project outcomes using cutting-edge tools and collaborative processes.

What You Will Do:

As VDC Coordinator, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in creating, managing, and updating 3D models used for coordination, scheduling, and construction planning.

  • Support clash detection efforts and coordination meetings with internal and external teams using Navisworks or similar software.

  • Generate visualizations, animations, and construction sequencing (4D) models for project planning and communication.

  • Help prepare VDC-related content for marketing pursuits, presentations, and team communication.

  • Participate in constructability reviews by providing model-based insight during preconstruction.

  • Maintain digital construction documentation and contribute to VDC process improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in training and supporting project teams and interns on VDC tools and workflows.

  • Stay current on new VDC technologies and recommend tools that may enhance project outcomes.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field - or equivalent technical training/experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction, engineering, or architectural environment working with VDC/BIM technologies.

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Exposure to 4D scheduling tools such as Synchro or Navisworks Timeliner is a plus.

  • Ability to interpret construction documents and translate design intent into model-based insights.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
