Job description

Job Description Summary
As a Product Sales Specialist in a customer-facing role, you will be responsible for winning business selling Maternal Infant Care capital equipment and digital tools to new customers (labor & delivery, neonatal ICU) and maintaining relationships with existing accounts in the South Florida territory. This role operates with some autonomy but is typically subject to standard sales practices and procedures. The role is subject to regular review of sales results.
This role requires the ability to work from home in a dedicated office space, free from distraction with a high-speed internet connection.
To provide onsite customer support, a company car will be provided, and the candidate needs to be willing to work in the South FL territory.

Responsibilities
  • Covered products include the GE maternal infant care capital equipment, digital tools and supporting equipment.
  • Ability to support customers post-sale is key to continued success and growth of business.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
  • Ability to prioritize information for decision making.
  • Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and a graduate of GE HealthCare Commercial Leadership Program; OR Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 3 years of healthcare sales; OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum 6 years of healthcare sales.
  • Ability to work from home in a dedicated office space, free from distraction with a high-speed internet connection.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain license.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers.
  • Must be willing to reside, travel and work within the territory (South Florida).

  • Capital sales experience and capital budget process knowledge.
  • Prior sales experience within hospitals. Ideally experience within Labor and Delivery units and NICU.
