Job description

Are you a motivated logistics professional ready to make an immediate impact? DCS is hiring a Lifecycle Logistics Management Analyst to support a fast-paced Army product management office at Fort Belvoir, VA. You'll leverage your lifecycle logistics expertise, analytical skills, and organizational strength to support logistics policy, resolve operational challenges, and build effective inventory management processes for acquisition and sustainment activities. This is a temporary, onsite position. Essential Job Functions: Performs logistics functions using enterprise planning tools (ELMS, GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, etc.) for acquisition and sustainment operations. Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders on logistics requirements. Integrates and plans for the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) in all phases of the sustainment and acquisition process. Assists in the planning, developing, coordinating, defending and executing all aspects of the PEO/PM's Lifecycle Logistics support under the processes of DOD acquisition and sustainment. Produces acquisition logistics documentation in support of the PEO/PMs products. Determines product lifecycle logistics requirements. Develops and/or reviews product sustainment plans and related acquisition logistics documents. Coordinates requirements and documents with functional leads and stakeholders. Participates in stakeholder IPTs to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all lifecycle management functions. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. High School and 16 years or Associate's degree and 10 years or Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience. Must have a Secret clearance or ability to obtain one. Training and certification in the logistics ERPs (ELMS, GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, etc.). Equivalent of DAWIA Certification Level II for Life Cycle Logistics. Knowledge of Lifecycle Logistics regulations and policies including DoD 5000 series, AR 70-1, AR 700-127, and AR 700-142. Ability to lift and move 40 pounds and stand during the workday in a warehouse environment. (A good portion of this position involves hands-on materiel handling/warehouse work.) Competency in communication, leadership, logistics automated systems, team management, and risk management. Ability to work independently and safely. Valid Driver's License. Travel up to 40%.
