Job description

EPAM is a global leader in digital transformation, and our Gaming practice is at the forefront of next‑generation entertainment technology. We partner with the world's most innovative gaming studios, publishers, and platforms to deliver transformative solutions — from AI‑powered player engagement and analytics to cloud infrastructure, data, and platform modernization. Our gaming experts leverage cutting‑edge technologies including machine learning, real‑time data processing, and advanced cloud architectures to create competitive advantages for our clients. We're not just building games; we're building the future of interactive entertainment on 1B+ players scale.

As Director of Client Partnership for Gaming, you will lead strategic commercial growth and drive transformational client partnerships with some of the gaming industry's most influential organizations. You will own a portfolio of high‑value gaming accounts, architecting and delivering multi‑million‑dollar technology and AI‑driven solutions that reshape how studios develop, publish, and monetize games. This is a leadership position that combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution, balancing P&L accountability with the entrepreneurial mindset required to scale emerging opportunities in AI, cloud, and next‑gen gaming platforms.

Req.#980777108

Responsibilities
  • Lead and expand strategic relationships with C‑suite and VP‑level executives across Gaming studios, publishers, and platforms
  • Own a portfolio of gaming accounts and drive multi‑million‑dollar AI, data analytics, custom development, and cloud engineering engagements
  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies and account plans tailored to gaming clients' business models
  • Partner with EPAM's delivery, engineering, data science, and cloud teams to design, scope, and deliver transformational solutions (AI player analytics, game platform modernization, real‑time backend infrastructure, game publishing optimization, …)
  • Own P&L accountability for your account portfolio; drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and achieve revenue targets
  • Navigate and leverage EPAM's strategic partnerships with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), game engines (Unreal, Unity), and technology partners to enrich client engagements
  • Represent EPAM in the gaming ecosystem — building and maintaining a strong network across key gaming hubs, industry events, GDC, and executive forums
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging trends (generative AI in game development, cloud‑native architectures, player engagement platforms) and translate them into new service lines
  • Drive account innovation by positioning EPAM as a strategic technology partner, not just a services vendor
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in the Gaming industry, with 8+ years in consulting, technology services, digital transformation, or AI‑driven roles
  • Proven track record selling and delivering complex technology, AI/data, and platform solutions to gaming clients (studios, publishers, platforms)
  • Demonstrated success managing multi‑million‑dollar account portfolios and leading executive‑level strategic conversations with C‑suite decision‑makers
  • Strong, credible network within the gaming industry — relationships with studios, publishers, and ecosystem partners across North America and EMEA
  • Experience with P&L management, practice building, or studio/vertical leadership within a technology services environment
  • Deep understanding of gaming industry challenges and opportunities: game development pipelines, live service operations, monetization strategies, player analytics, and platform economics
  • Solid knowledge of AI, data analytics, cloud technologies, and how they apply to gaming (predictive player behavior, game optimization, backend infrastructure)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑scaling studio, balance structure with innovation, and build new market opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to translate complex technology into compelling business value propositions for non‑technical executives
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams, navigate matrix organizations, and drive consensus among multiple stakeholders
  • Gaming Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of game development, publishing, live services, player engagement, and the competitive landscape
  • Strategic Account Leadership: Portfolio management, account planning, relationship building at executive levels, and driving long‑term client value
  • Commercial Acumen: Pipeline development, solution architecture, deal structuring, negotiation, and revenue forecasting
  • Technology Fluency: Working knowledge of AI/ML, cloud platforms, game engines, real‑time systems, and how to position them to gaming clients
  • Leadership & People Management: Team coaching, talent development, cross‑functional collaboration, and fostering innovation
  • Business Development: Market analysis, opportunity identification, GTM strategy, and new service line creation
  • Thought Leadership: Ability to speak and publish on gaming trends, position EPAM as an industry expert, and influence market conversations
Nice to have
  • Experience at or with major game studios (Activision, Rockstar, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Take‑Two, etc.) or platforms (Steam, Epic, Microsoft, Sony)
  • Background in games marketing, publishing, or live operations
  • Track record scaling gaming studios or digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with cloud‑native game development or game publishing platforms
  • Active participation in gaming conferences, GDC, or industry associations
We offer
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Subsidized)
  • Health Savings Account
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Commuter)
  • Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability (Company Provided)
  • Life and AD&D Insurance (Company Provided)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions
  • Matched 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
  • Paid Time Off – the employee will be eligible to accrue 15‑25 paid days, depending on specific level and tenure with EPAM (accrual eligibility may change over time)
  • Paid Holidays - nine (9) total per year
  • Legal Plan and Identity Theft Protection
  • Accident Insurance
  • Employee Discounts
  • Pet Insurance
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program
  • If otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus program
  • If otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) Program
