Position Summary:

We are searching for a dedicated and proficient Workday Financials Consolidation Specialist for a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension, to support our finance team remotely. The selected candidate will be pivotal in executing financial consolidation processes within Workday, ensuring precise financial reporting and adherence to compliance standards globally. Expertise in Workday Financial Management, particularly in financial consolidation, reporting, and currency conversion, is essential for this role.


Location: RemoteJob Type: Contract (3 Months with Possibility of Extension)


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation, management, and optimization of Workday Financials consolidation processes for accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Handle currency conversions, manage intercompany transactions, and eliminate them within Workday to ensure clear financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements in financial consolidations and reporting.
  • Collaborate across departments to integrate financial consolidation processes with business operations seamlessly.
  • Create and update documentation for consolidation procedures, policies, and Workday system configurations.
  • Offer Workday Financials consolidation training and support to users.
  • Resolve consolidation issues by analyzing and implementing corrective measures.



Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated Workday Financials experience focusing on financial consolidation, reporting, and configurations.
  • Solid understanding of economic fundamentals and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic, remote setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Workday Financial Management.
