Job description

Warfighting Functional Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complexsituations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for anexpert like you to drive solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.

As a Warfighting Functional Analyst, you'll use and bring your analytical, tactical, technical, DOTMLPF, and MDMP expertise asyou work as member of an Operations Group on projects for the training program. You'll support an Operations Group with the planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of the program. You'll be a trusted advisor to the military client, andwe'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex Operations Orders, SOPs, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to Warfighting Exercises (WFXs), Risk Reduction Events, and steady state operations. You will write Operations Orders as required and use all current and future analytical tools available to produce AARs. You'll serve as the program POC and leverage expertise producing digital SCP, produce orders x-walk, and, when feasible, cross-train as Workstation controller.

You'll oversee the work we do for Operations Groups supporting training programs and the solutions we deliver for the Army's warfighter program.

You Have:

  • Experience with the U.S. Military as senior NCO, WO, or officer

  • Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level such as Executive Officer, S-3, or Operations Sergeant Major

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience with current Army and Joint regulation and publications

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Completion of Military Education Level (MEL4) CGSC, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education (WOSSE), or Sergeants Major Course (SMC)

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a Colonel O-5 or above

  • Experience serving on Division or Corps level staff positions

  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solvingskills

  • Master's degree

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Graduate of War College (MEL1) or equivalent

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements foraccess to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
