Video Game Community Manager

Warner Bros. Games is looking for a video game Community Manager to join our Social Media, Community, and Creator team. Ideal candidates are passionate about engaging directly with players where gaming communities gather, primarily across Discord and Reddit, as well as Steam and other gaming platforms. They should have experience connecting gaming communities through online engagement programs and identifying emerging community platforms. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of gaming community platforms and moderation techniques, and the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities while working with multiple teams and studios. An avid gamer is a plus.

Monitor, engage with, and moderate gaming communities across Discord, Reddit, Steam, and other relevant community platforms

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure game updates, including patches, brand and editorial news, esports news, and announcements, are posted on time, while monitoring and reporting player feedback to stakeholders

Act as the community voice for Warner Bros. Games when posting patch notes or updates for our titles

Identify potential community moderators and community ambassadors within verified channels

Assist in training studios on moderation processes, volunteer moderator and Ambassador programs, engagement incentive programs, and escalation processes for future titles

Identify and report on player sentiment using in-house tracking tools, working closely with platform representatives to ensure community channels are in top-notch condition

Create and execute player-focused community programs that tie into broader social and brand marketing beats

Support multiple premium console and free-to-play titles

A minimum of four years' experience in gaming community management or forum management, with AAA title management preferred

Knowledge of gaming community ecosystems and platforms, particularly Discord and Reddit, as well as brand communications and social media

Analytical skills in tracking community metrics, including player sentiment

Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills across multiple departments

Self-motivation and initiative; impeccable time management, organization, and prioritization

Experience with cross-functional team coordination

An avid gamer

Passion for and familiarity with brand communications and marketing is a plus
