Surveillance Agent-Full Time-Port Canaveral
Must have Casino Experience
Wages commensurate with experience or knowledge.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Operates all surveillance computer equipment. Monitors all areas of the property and closely observes a target game, staff member, or customer. Ensures compliance with applicable gaming regulations. Reports improper activity or disturbances to supervisor or security team for further investigation.
· Observes and reports on all areas under surveillance to assure compliance with the Casino's in-house regulations and in-house gaming policies and procedures. This includes identification of cheating activities and undesirable patrons, pilferage, embezzlement and any irregularity, in order to provide protection of corporate assets and liabilities.
· Responsible for investigating reports and all special projects as assigned.
· Must be able to make common sense decisions and determination regarding irregular activities and exercise care and judgment in handling of sensitive information.
· Works with all law enforcement agencies in providing surveillance information involving criminal investigations and arrests.
· Studies all phases of gaming operations and regulations and also attends training classes in related fields to keep abreast of the latest casino operations and trends.
· Must be familiar with operating and using the various functions of the surveillance console such as working with surveillance cameras and recording equipment.
· Must become familiar with the inside and outside surrounding areas of the casino property.
· Responsible for learning the Surveillance Department's filing systems, policies and procedures, reference guides and any other reporting processes utilized during daily operations.
· Handles all business transactions in a professional manner and maintains a high level of communication and rapport with all departments at the management level.
· Must learn to write and type reports and become familiar with current computer and recording technology.
You will be required to obtain a TWIC and MMC. Acceptable documents to obtain badging are Passport OR Government issued photo ID and certified copy of Birth Certificate. Supporting documents would be needed for a name change.
