Job Summary:
Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for Medicaid Systems. The role involves designing, executing, and validating test cases to ensure compliance with federally mandated changes for South Carolina’s Medicaid System, requiring collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Design and execute detailed test scenarios for mainframe and distributed systems.
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Medicaid system changes.
• Analyze test results, document variances, and coordinate resolution of defects.
• Collaborate closely with SCDHHS, Clemson staff, and contracted teams to support QA and UAT efforts.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state Medicaid requirements.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats to stakeholders and project teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong background in Mainframe, MVS COBOL, JCL.
• Proven software testing experience, including creation of test scenarios and execution.
• Ability to analyze results and resolve discrepancies between expected and actual outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, adaptability, and time management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance testing within mainframe environments.
Preferred:
• CA-ADS and SQL.
• Serena Changeman or similar change control tools.
• Familiarity with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid eligibility, or claims processing.
• Experience with testing tools and healthcare IT systems.
