PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Game One is the premier provider of apparel, gear, and equipment unifying teams and fans in schools, clubs and organizations.

JOB SUMMARY

The Embroidery Production Manager will direct and coordinate Embroidery/Heat Press Decal functions at a Game One Swanton production facility to obtain high quality, efficient operations. This position will analyze production operations and establish priorities by performing the following duties personally or through team members.


JOB FUNCTIONS

• Directly supervise, train, communicate to, and encourage team members with the support and assistance of production supervisors.

• Work and communicate with other departments to ensure steady production flow. Manage order queue daily to ensure delivery deadlines are met.

• Establish or adjust work procedures and schedules to meet production demands.

• Implement training procedures for newly hired team members to ensure training is thorough and standardized.

• Prepare for and conduct performance reviews for team members.

• Identify and implement training methods that will enhance department efficiency and productivity.

• Monitor and maintain department inventory or supplies.

• Maintain performance data on team members.

• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.

• Keep the General Manager informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of objectives, offering ideas and viable solutions.

• Be hands on with the team. Must be able to lift 20lbs frequently and as much as 50lbs occasionally. Must be able to differentiate between colors and patterns.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong operational experience, with ability to manage and lead people and processes.

• Lean Manufacturing/5S experience preferred.

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, flashing lights, industrial truck horns and heat.
