Job description

POSITION SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: Direct overall restaurant operations to ensure operations are attributing to the full revenue profit potential of the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Has the ability to perform all functions of supervised positions. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of restaurant service operations, including budgeting and financial planning, accounting and recording of financial results, supervision of purchasing supply inventory, development of policies and procedures, and development of supervision and control system.

Supervise and mentor all restaurant personnel by example of service duty Evaluates, recognizes, implements and monitors restaurant requirements such as scheduling, training, budget assessments, profit/loss margin recording, inventory control, internal controls, guest service and health inspections on a daily basis Coordinates activities with all supervisors by conducting reviews of activities. Identifies problems or deficiencies related to food service. Recommends and/or implements appropriate corrective measures.

Determines the extent of changes and improvements within the framework of current or proposed budget limitations Supervises the restaurant staff to include the selection and retention of subordinates, approving and disapproving leave requests, evaluating performance, determining training needs, scheduling, disciplining, employee recording, staff hiring, and recommending termination Prepares reference and employment verification upon request by Human Resources. Prepares personnel action forms. Prepares necessary paperwork for position and duty changes in status.

Assists in job announcements Displays a responsive and professional manner in solving all requests, complaints and problems Provides proper safety and security to company assets, including personnel Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

Performs other duties as assigned.
