Description


The Facilities Maintenance Intern will be tasked with general Plant upkeep and improvement. American Phoenix INC. has a very large facility, with many systems in place to keep production running. Tasks completed by this Intern will directly correlate to improving efficiency and visibility of these systems throughout the Plant. This position reports to the Plant's Engineering Department.


Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

General Painting

System identification

System labeling

Plant Mapping

Maintains neat and clean work area.

Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning when investigating and solving problems.

Consistently shows ability to recognize and deal with priorities

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Engineering Supervisors.


Salary: $19.50 /hr

Requirements


- Must work for at least eight full-time weeks (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2026

- Must be an engineering student

- Must be available to start work by June 16, 2026

- Must be actively enrolled in school or will be enrolled in school in the near future.
