Purpose of this role:

We are seeking a motivated Process Engineering Intern to support continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role will provide hands-on experience in process optimization, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic production environment.

The intern will work alongside engineering and operations teams to evaluate processes, support improvement efforts, and contribute to key operational projects.

In this position, you will...

  • Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Collect, organize, and interpret production and experimental data
  • Support process trials and testing activities under engineering guidance
  • Monitor and assist with quality and process control activities
  • Document findings, procedures, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineering
  • Support ongoing projects and operational initiatives as needed
  • Present a summary of work and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship

The knowledge, skills, and abilities you will bring...

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to observe, document, and analyze processes
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or industrial operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
