Job description

Summer Worship Intern - Weekend's

This position will be of interest to those with an interest in the musical aspects of a church. This is a Government Grant position, and to qualify you must be between the ages of 15 - 30, be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, and legally able to work in Canada.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the musical and technical aspects of weekend church services
  • Organize & clean up technical booth and rehearsal spaces
  • Planning and implementing weekend services and other special events
  • Maintaining hardware, software, and other systems

Additional Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Experience in worship or tech ministry an asset, but not required
  • Complete Abuse Prevention process (internal training)
  • Attend staff meetings and staff chapels as scheduled.
  • Follow and live by the "Rule of Life" adopted by the entire SPAC staff and adhere to the policies and procedures of the Staff Handbook.
  • Works well independently with little supervision and works well within a team setting.


Qualifications:

  • Must be between the ages of 15 - 30
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Highschool diploma
  • Personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Team Player


Working Hours: Working a mix of weekends and weekdays are required

Reporting to: Weekends Pastor


Special Notes:

  • Working days are flexible and will be dependent on the applicant. Weekend hours are a requirement. Saturday and Sunday hours are a requirement.
  • Tentative dates: July-Aug 2026
