Job Description
The Hospitality Internship program at Belterra Casino Resort is a career development role designed for college students working towards gaining a deeper understanding of Food & Beverage management with a focus on the Golf Operations and Pool departments.
The Hospitality Intern:
  • Will gain an overview of all Out of Bounds and Pool aspects
    • Working designated positions
    • Scheduling set up
    • Efficient use of labor
  • Will consistently interact with Team Members, Management, and Leadership
  • Will become familiar and experience all of Food & Beverage operations
  • Will learn and experience expectations and standards for guest relations at a resort property
  • Will become familiar with schedule building, event planning, and SOPs
  • Works on projects related to key business priorities determined by Leadership
  • Rotates through critical functional areas and roles
  • Provides support to management
  • Builds relationships with department leaders, executive team, supervisors, and fellow team members
  • Develops and presents a final project to the executive team which may be used to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities learned during the program

Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Public relations skills helpful
  • Knowledge of monetary denominations and cash handling
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft systems such as Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
