POSITION TITLE: Chip Cleaner
DEPARTMENT: Tables
GRADE/FLSA STATUS: H8 - Non-Exempt
BADGE TYPE/COLOR: Key--Blue
REPORTS TO: Table Games Administrator
SUPERVISES: N/A
JOB SUMMARY:
Clean and maintain the appearance of all Table Games and Poker chips and cleaning equipment.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
  • Operate chip cleaning device to clean chips
  • Safely operate chip cleaning equipment
  • Identify areas requiring attention to maintenance and cleanliness of chip cleaning equipment
  • Secure all chips when cleaning and transporting
  • Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
  • Acknowledge and respond to team members
  • Knowledgeable of current promotional programs and events
  • Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
  • Provide any assistance as needed to Table Games per Table Games Supervisor and/or Table Games Managers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

ร˜ Knowledge of cleaning equipment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willing to learn and be adaptable
  • Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items
  • Must be able to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and surrounding property
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondhand smoke
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
