Puzzle Effect – Game Master (Part-Time)About Puzzle Effect

Puzzle Effect is a fun escape room company where people come to play games and solve puzzles. We have locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Oregon.

We care about our customers, our team, and our community. We work hard to make sure every guest has a safe and exciting experience.


Job Summary

Game Masters help run the games and take care of our guests. You will welcome customers, explain the game, watch their progress, and reset the rooms after each group.

You will report to the Senior Game Master and Store Lead.


What You Will Do
  • Greet customers with a smile and help them check in
  • Help guests sign waivers
  • Explain the game rules and answer questions
  • Watch games on cameras and give hints when needed
  • Reset rooms quickly and correctly after each game
  • Fix small problems with games or equipment
  • Keep rooms clean and safe
  • Take bookings, payments, and customer photos
  • Share fun moments on social media
  • Help open and close the store
  • Follow all safety rules and company policies
  • Learn about our games and be ready to help customers

Work Schedule
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

What We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
  • Friendly and good with people
  • Good at talking and listening
  • Works well in a busy environment
  • Pays attention to details
  • Can solve problems quickly
  • Likes working as part of a team
  • No escape room experience needed — we will train you

Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for long periods
  • Use your hands often
  • Bend, kneel, and crouch
  • Climb a small ladder (3–8 feet) sometimes
  • Lift:
