JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Gallery Host/Front Desk Associate whose role will be to offer guests a unique experience with exceptional service while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.

  • Assist guests with check in and check out processes, including address and credit verification, and balance bank posting charges.
  • Go above and beyond to provide assistance to guests (i.e. assist with luggage, coffee, directions, wake up calls, future reservations etc.)
  • Bartend and cook on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide information to guest and visitor inquiries; coordinate all guest requests for special arrangement of services courteously and efficiently, inform guests of hotel services features and room amenities.
  • Answer hotel telephones courteously and efficiently following hotel standards.
  • Be familiar and knowledgeable with the operation of the POS system.
  • Follow hotel operational policies and procedures including those for cash and credit card handling safety and security, and all other policies procedures and standards to ensure we can consistently exceed the guests' expectations.
  • Other duties, as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years related experience in the hotel/hospitality industry with knowledge of hospitality principles and practices; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency using MS Office and relative software systems.
  • Must be trustworthy, punctual, have a positive attitude with attention to detail, and be committed to high quality customer service .
  • Must be a solutions-oriented self-starter with a motivating personality, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be organized, comfortable with a wide range of responsibilities, and have a strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently, as well as within a team environment.
  • Ability to professionally diffuse and resolve conflict with a positive, customer service-oriented approach.
  • Must possess solid verbal and written English communications skills to effectively negotiate, convince, sell, and influence all prospective and existing guests and customers.
  • Physical: Requires standing for long periods of time and on occasion may .be asked to lift and carry up to 40 pounds while performing the duties of this job, it may be also required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
