Job description

A restaurant server is responsible for providing excellent customer service in the dining establishment. The key duties and responsibilities typically include:
Greeting Customers: Welcoming guests as they arrive and seating them in a friendly manner.
Upselling: Recommending menu items and specials to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
 
Collaborating with Kitchen Staff: Communicating effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and any special requests or dietary restrictions.

Taking Guests Orders:  Accurately taking food and drink orders from customers and providing information about menu items, also a knowledge on wine, beer and liquor. 
Maintaining Dining Experience: Delivering orders to tables in a timely fashion, ensure the guests have everything they need. Regularly checking on guests to ensure satisfaction, address any additional requests or concerns. We want to make every guest a returning regular. 
Handling Payments: Processing customer payments, including cash and credit card transactions, and providing change when necessary. Also being able to operate a POS computer system as well as technical handheld POS system. 
Maintaining Cleanliness:  Keeping tables, chairs, and dining areas clean and organized, as well as managing the cleanliness of service areas. 
Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations:  Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. 
 
Must be friendly, attentive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
