  • Partner with the Digital Merchandising & Performance team to understand weekly and monthly content calendars, product priorities, key business categories, and campaign timing.
  • Research designer brands, seasonal trends, product details, and competitive luxury ecommerce messaging to inform copy direction.
  • Assist with copy for Homepages, emails, curated shops, landing pages, brand pages, promotional placements, and special projects as needed.

  • Take direction and feedback from the Director of Digital Merchandising & Performance, Copywriter, Merchandising team, and cross-functional creative partners.
  • Track competitor messaging and bring forward relevant ideas for FWRD Women’s and men’s email, homepage, and site content.
  • Support testing opportunities for subject lines, email copy, site messaging, and other copy-driven optimizations when applicable.
  • Manage multiple deadlines within the weekly content workflow while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and grammar skills.
  • Strong understanding of luxury fashion, designer brands, ecommerce, and digital customer behavior.

  • Self-motivated and able to complete tasks independently while also collaborating with a team.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and revising copy quickly.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with merchandising, creative, buying, retention, and site partners.

  • Degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, fashion, or a related field preferred.

  • Familiarity with luxury ecommerce competitors
  • Experience with email marketing, homepage/site copy, product storytelling, or merchandising-driven content.
  • Basic understanding of performance metrics such as email engagement, click-through rate, conversion, and revenue is a plus.
