Job Description

Avis Furniture Company, a long-established manufacturer of hospitality and restaurant furnishings since 1959, is looking for an experienced Custom Furniture Builder to join our production team working on commercial and hospitality projects.

This role is ideal for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in quality work and can take projects from shop drawings through final build in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We are proud of the strong team we’ve built. The average tenure of our employees is over 14 years, and many team members have built long-term careers with Avis Furniture.

We are looking for a skilled builder who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys seeing a project through from raw materials to finished product.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret shop drawings

Create cut lists and fabricate components

Build custom furniture and millwork from start to finish
