The Opportunity
The Greeter playsย an important roleย in supporting visitation, funeral and memorial services and ensuring families and guests experience a seamless, respectful environment.ย This is a part-time, service-focused position ideal for someone who is dependable, composed, and committed to caring for families during meaningful and emotional moments. The Greeter works closely with Funeral Directors to ensure services are executed with dignity, organization, and attention to detail.ย 
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Welcome andย assistย families and guests with warmth, professionalism, and empathy during visitations, services, and memorial gatherings.ย 
  • Prepare service areas prior to services and ensure spaces are clean and presentable.ย 
  • Maintain the overall appearance and readiness of the funeral home, chapels, reception areas, and public spaces.ย 
  • Assistย with light administrative and operational tasks, including answering phones, organizing materials, and supporting daily funeral homeย operations.ย 
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and respect for cultural, religious, and personal traditionsย at all times
What You Bring
  • Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.ย 
  • Professional demeanor and appearanceย required.ย 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.ย 
  • Ability to communicate compassionately and respectfully.ย 
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.ย 
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with acceptable driving record (if driving isย required).
