Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Project Manager for a client in Houston, 77032 area. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Evaluate project alternatives and develop cost-effective solutions to meet business needs.
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, risks, and deliverables, ensuring milestones are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with company project management policies, procedures, and lifecycle methodologies.
  • Identify project risks, potential issues, and objections, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Communicate project status, schedule changes, and scope adjustments to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple departments, disciplines, and development teams.
  • Mentor and coach team members on project management best practices and issue resolution.
  • Ensure projects meet established quality, security, and customer acceptance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management and software-related projects.
