Job Description

Job Summary

The Project Manager is a tactical, execution-focused role responsible for supporting the successful delivery of packaged power generation projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager - Engineering, this position coordinates activities across engineering, commercial, supply chain, and field operations to ensure technical scope, schedule, and deployment alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

This role focuses on day-to-day project execution, schedule ownership, and cross-functional coordination while escalating risks, scope changes, and critical path impacts to the Senior Project Manager as appropriate.

The Project Manager serves as a key operational link between teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with PROPWR standards

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of packaged power generation projects from design through deployment, ensuring alignment across engineering, commercial, supply chain, and field operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules, including milestones, resource needs, and interdependencies across functional teams.
  • Coordinate project scope, equipment requirements, and delivery timelines in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
  • Participate in engineering and project meetings to support design alignment, change evaluation, and implementation planning.
  • Serve as a project coordination point for engineering-related items, communicating schedule impacts, design changes, and risks to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Identify critical path items and proactively follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Organize and lead routine project update meetings; capture action items, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Support preparation and maintenance of project dashboards, status reports, and documentation for leadership review.
  • Assist with coordination of equipment, materials, logistics, and deployment sequencing for customer sites.
  • Support internal engineering and commercial initiatives related to process improvement, standardization, and project execution.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe driving practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, or Project Management discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical or engineering project management, preferably in power generation, packaged equipment, or field services.
  • Working knowledge of generator systems, electrical packaging, or engineered equipment deployment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as P&IDs, one-lines, and layout drawings.
  • Familiarity with electrical gear, balance of plant, and site deployment or commissioning processes preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage project schedules based on engineering and operational inputs.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through on action items.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across functions.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, MS Project, Salesforce-Mission Control) and Microsoft Office applications.
