To thrive as a Functional Project Manager, you need strong project management skills, business process knowledge, and usually a relevant degree or certification such as PMP or PRINCE2. Familiarity with project management software (like MS Project or Jira), workflow tools, and enterprise systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is essential. These skills and qualities ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

What are the 4 types of project managers?

The four main types of project managers are functional, projectized, matrix, and hybrid.
