Job description

Job Title: Senior Program Manager (Enterprise Strategy & Delivery)
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic Senior Program Manager to provide high-level leadership for a complex portfolio of interconnected initiatives. You will act as the "control tower" for our program, bridging the gap between technical execution and executive vision.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the program, from initial cost-benefit analysis and resource allocation to defining the governance policies that dictate how we operate. You will be the primary communication point for our executive committee, translating complex technical hurdles into clear business implications and ensuring that our financial and operational targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Governance & Portfolio Management
• Program Orchestration: Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are executed in alignment with enterprise strategy and operational goals.
• Governance Framework: Define and implement project governance policies. Establish clear decision-making protocols and operational standards to ensure consistency across the program.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the program's financial health, including the development of cost-benefit analyses, budget tracking, and long-term capital forecasting.
Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Executive Communication: Serve as the primary liaison to the executive committee. Maintain a real-time program dashboard that provides clear visibility into milestones, risks, and ROI.
• Technical Translation: Act as a technical translator-deconstructing complex engineering/technical components into clear business narratives for non-technical leadership.
• Resource Optimization: Strategically allocate resources across multiple workstreams. Coordinate internal teams and manage external vendor relationships to ensure high-quality delivery.
Relationship & Team Building
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Build deep, lasting relationships across organizational lines. Facilitate effective collaboration between technical teams, business units, and external stakeholders.
• Innovation & Facilitation: Foster an innovative culture by challenging current operational workflows. Use your facilitation skills to drive consensus during high-stakes strategic meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in complex project or program management.
• Strategic Competency: Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar portfolios or large-scale technical initiatives.
Core Competencies
• Executive Presence: Excellent business presentation skills; ability to influence senior leadership and steer executive decision-making.
• Analytical Discipline: Superior analytical skills; ability to manage complex data, evaluate trade-offs, and develop logical cost-benefit models.
• Autonomy: Highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated success in building partnerships across functional silos and effectively managing external vendor/contractor resources.
