14710 - Nuclear Project Manager (onsite) - Jensen Beach/ Florida City, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Clientโ€™s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. With travel to the other nuclear sites periodically to support outages or planned projects
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clientโ€™s site in Jensen Beach/ Florida City, FL (required);
  • Experience with nuclear power plant project management, including projects from conception to close out;
  • Experience with project controls, including scheduling, cost analysis, estimations, and reporting;
  • Experience with engineering and construction coordination across functional resources;
  • Experience with major mechanical capital projects in nuclear ($10M+, outage-critical-path), such as condenser replacement (bullseye) or similar BOP scope (steam generator, feedwater heater, condenser retube, heat exchanger, turbine overhaul);
  • Experience managing Full lifecycle on projects (planning through closeout)

Preferred:
  • Experience with integrated reactor head replacements, turbine gantry crane replacements, or condenser replacements;
  • Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software;
  • Experience with NEO (Nuclear Energy Online) or equivalent nuclear work management systems;
  • Experience working within clientโ€™s organizations (PGD, Wind, or similar) with cross-functional perspective;
  • Experience with advanced Excel for financial modeling and cost analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead nuclear projects to completion by schedule date, managing integrated reactor head replacements, turbine gantry crane replacements, and condenser replacements across both units;
  • Develop and maintain project plans, cost analyses, schedules, estimations, and status reports to communicate deliverables to stakeholders;
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, and other functional resources to achieve project objectives;
  • Lead and coach schedulers, cost engineers, and estimators on project significance and execution standards;
  • Manage all project controls and systems to support project development tasks and budget adherence;
  • Surface project issues and recommendations to leadership, maintaining project momentum throughout the lifecycle;
  • Travel periodically to other nuclear sites to support outages or planned projects.
