  • Coordinate with other community organizations and health agencies to advocate effectively for clients' needs.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences to share insights and discuss treatment strategies with colleagues.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about our services and the importance of mental health in recovery.

This position focuses on supporting individuals in the detoxification process, many of whom face significant challenges as they confront substance use disorders. You will be working with a diverse patient population that may include those from underrepresented communities, ensuring that culturally competent care is provided to all clients.

Qualifications

  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and community resources linked to substance abuse treatment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, coupled with cultural competence, to effectively relate to a diverse client base.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities to navigate complex client issues and develop innovative solutions.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a social service agency, particularly in a detox center or similar environment where mental health support is a priority.
  • Knowledgeable about social and economic justice issues affecting vulnerable populations.
  • Experience with evidence-based practices in counseling and case management is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

  • Health insurance options including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement savings plans with employer matching to help secure your future.
  • A generous paid time off policy that includes vacation, personal days, and holidays to promote work-life balance.
