ExcelHealth Group is seeking a full-time, patient-centered Podiatrist to provide high-quality foot and ankle care to nursing home residents throughout the state. This role is ideal for a licensed provider who values clinical independence, enjoys working in different care settings, and wants to make a meaningful difference for patients who may have limited access to specialty podiatric services.

Why This Role Stands Out

As a Traveling Podiatrist, you will visit assigned nursing home facilities to evaluate and treat residents with a range of foot and ankle concerns. You will work independently while remaining connected to a supportive administrative and scheduling team. · Provide routine and medically necessary podiatric care with professionalism, patience, and attention to individual resident needs.

· Develop appropriate treatment plans based on patient presentation, history, and clinical findings.

· Identify changes in patient condition and communicate concerns to appropriate facility staff or care team members.

· Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation for each patient encounter.

· Coordinate with the internal scheduling team to support efficient routing, facility visits, and patient care coverage.

· Represent ExcelHealth Group professionally when interacting with residents, families, facility staff, and care partners.

· Stay current with podiatric medicine best practices, compliance expectations, and continuing education requirements.

What We’re Looking For

· Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and valid state license to practice podiatry.

· Valid malpractice coverage or ability to obtain coverage.

· Ability and willingness to travel statewide to assigned nursing home locations.

· Strong clinical judgment and comfort working independently in a mobile healthcare environment.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate respectfully with patients, facility staff, and internal team members.

· Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage documentation, scheduling expectations, and travel responsibilities.

· Commitment to delivering compassionate, ethical, and high-quality care to long-term care residents.

Benefits and Support

· Full-time employment with consistent patient care opportunities

· Paid time off

· Paid company-recognized holidays

· Health insurance reimbursement

· Malpractice reimbursement

· Continuing education support

· Basic vehicle maintenance support for approved work-related travel

· Company-issued credit card for approved travel expenses

· Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
