Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patientโ€™s unique trauma history and decide on the best therapeutic modalities.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on enhancing trauma recovery and building resilience in patients.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing their trauma.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a platform for patients to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and promote healing.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care for a holistic approach to patient well-being.
  • Respond to crises with supportive interventions and management strategies during traumatic emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they feel empowered to manage their mental health.
  • Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in case consultations, team discussions, and educational opportunities centered on trauma-informed care advancing best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in trauma therapy, ensuring that care approaches evolve along with new evidence.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly serves individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to domestic violence, childhood abuse, and traumatic loss. Qualifications
