This role offers a flexible remote work setting, providing you with the opportunity to deliver care to clients from the comfort of your own home while also engaging directly with patients during outpatient office visits when necessary. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health evaluations to assess patients’ trauma histories and determine suitable treatment paths.
• Develop and implement targeted trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting personal recovery.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, integrative care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.
• Respond to trauma-related crises, offering immediate intervention and support to patients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available resources.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic outcomes.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals suffering from trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and complex trauma. Our clientele is diverse, encompassing various age groups and backgrounds, necessitating a tailored approach that respects their unique experiences and needs. Your role will be crucial in helping patients build resilience and achieve lasting recovery through personalized therapeutic interventions.

• A master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure mental health counseling experience.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed interventions, and strategies for building resilience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and navigate challenging client situations effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.
• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with extensive previous experience in trauma-focused therapy and interventions will be viewed favorably. A strong background in utilizing methodologies like EMDR and TF-CBT will enhance your ability to make a measurable impact on our patients’ lives.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
