State-of-the-Art Surgical Services
Mercy Health Saint Mary's offers the latest outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures for a wide range of medical conditions. Our surgeons are board-certified and trained in the most up-to-date techniques and technology, including minimally invasive robotic procedures for a variety of conditions and disorders.
Whether facing a relatively routine procedure or a complex surgery for a life-threatening condition, Mercy Health Saint Mary's provides state-of-the-art medical facilities and advanced pre-and post-surgery care. With over 14,000 procedures performed at our hospital each year, we offer complete surgical care to meet everyone's needs.
Average Daily Cases : 45-50
Highest Volume Specialty : Ortho, General, Neuro, Urology, Bariatric, and Robotic.
Only hospital in West Michigan that can do Kidney Transplants on adults.
Robotic : on track to do about 600 cases this year
New hybrid room with Vascular Surgery
Summary:
Provides assistance as necessary to surgeons and residents by selecting, organizing, anticipating and passing surgical instruments, medical supplies and equipment, maintaining aseptic fields and technique and providing retraction under the direction of the surgeon.
Requirements:
Completion of a formal Surgical Technologist training program. Evidence of completion of training and/or Surgical Technologist certification. Association of Surgical Technologist (AST) certification preferred. One year prior work experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
We have needs for full time tech's. Most of the shifts are 12hr on days, but schedule can vary. Evening and weekend/holiday call required. We also have part time opportunities.
