Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ironworker / Plenum Assembler to join our RoXteel team supporting industrial and data center projects. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on ironworking experience-particularly with rigging, crane operations, and structural assembly-who enjoys physical work, takes pride in precision, and wants a long-term opportunity with growth potential. You'll be assembling large-scale steel plenums in a fast-paced production environment, with the opportunity to advance into a Team Lead role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble steel plenums and prepare materials for fabrication and shipping
  • Operate power tools including saws, drills, grinders, and nail guns safely and efficiently
  • Read tape measures accurately and mark steel for cuts, drilling, and assembly
  • Perform grinding and cleaning of metal surfaces to meet quality standards
  • Load, stack, move, and organize steel materials and tools throughout the work area
  • Follow rigging procedures, hand signals, and crane safety protocols when applicable
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications
Required:
  • Previous ironworking, steel fabrication, or similar hands-on construction/manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16"
  • Experience using power tools in a production or construction setting
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights when needed
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (including marijuana)

Preferred:
  • Experience with rigging, crane operations, and hand signals
  • Ability to read basic part prints or shop drawings
  • Previous experience in industrial or data center environments

Schedule
Monday-Thursday | 5 am - 5 pm
Fridays | 5 am -3 pm
Occasional Saturday's to meet deadlines
