STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Food & Beverage Coordinator is responsible for supporting and overseeing concession operations across our three facilities. This is not a typical 9-to-5 position, as our operations are event-driven and often require evenings, weekends, and flexibility based on the facility schedule. This is a hands-on working position that includes assisting with daily operations, inventory, ordering, staffing support, setup, breakdown, and ensuring our concession areas are prepared and operating effectively during games, tournaments, camps, and special events.
The Food & Beverage Coordinator is responsible for providing proper and efficient food service during all events. They work closely with the Operations Director to ensure inventory is correct and all locations within the complex are fully operational. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Prepare menu(s) and displays(s)
  • Confirm all food and supply inventory before each event
  • Set up and prepare event areas when needed
  • Restock items while open to avoid running out of product during event
  • Always follow all appropriate local and state health department rules and regulations including safe food handling procedures
  • Maintain clean and functioning kitchens throughout the facility including proper food handling requirements and appropriate food storage temperatures
  • Supervise part-time staff to ensure safe/proper handling of food, products, and equipment
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work productively with a wide variety of ages
  • Flexible work schedule and regular attendance is necessary
  • Must be able to consistently and primarily work weekends
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
  • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
  • Applicants must be 21 years old or older
  • Basic computer skills and ability to properly use POS system

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must comply with state safety and health code standards
  • Facility has intermittent noise
  • Must wear proper clothing
  • Able to run/walk as needed

PREFFERRED:

  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • Food Manager Safety Certification
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • 2+ years of experience in food service environment
