Job description

Description We're looking for Seasonal Athletic Field Groundskeepers to join our team out at the Capital Federal Sports Complex. This is a great position for students who are looking for their first job or those looking for a summer job. It does require periodic cleaning of restrooms and/or emptying trash throughout the complex.

Our grounds crew is instrumental in providing our athletes and fans a great experience at our facility. If you enjoy working outdoors and around various sporting events, this opportunity will be a great fit for you. Schedule Flexible, based on your availability Available Shifts Friday 6pm - Close (10/11pm) Saturday 10am-4pm and 4pm-Close Sunday 11am-7pm Typical season runs through November Employees are encouraged to return for subsequent seasons Weeknights & weekends Approximately 20 hours/week, depending on your availability.

We're open to applicants who want to work more or less hours. Benefits Relaxed & fun environment Casual dress code (Liberty Parks & Rec t-shirts provided) Free Liberty Community Center membership (Employee only) Paid training & no experience required Free meal during your shift Essential Functions Perform various aspects of field maintenance including setting bases and pitching distances Duties also include cleaning restrooms and emptying trash in to dumpsters May require use of utility vehicles on complex property Proactively engage and interact with citizens to ensure their customer experience leaves a positive impact Performs other duties as needed to ensure quality municipal services for our citizens Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must be able to work in various weather conditions, as well as variable hours that include evenings, nights, and weekends Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs Must be at least 16 years old The City of Liberty adheres to a drug-free workplace as defined by federal law.
