Growth and Healing Psychiatric Clinic is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. Work Environment

As a mental health therapist at Growth and Healing, you will work in a supportive and collaborative team environment from a remote location. You can expect to engage with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, ensuring coordinated care for all patients. Our practice typically operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the needs and concerns of each patient, leading to tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, during individual sessions to assist clients in achieving their mental health goals.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that create a sense of community and shared experience among participants dealing with similar mental health issues.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and stabilization to individuals in mental health emergencies.
  • Collaborate with fellow clinicians and healthcare professionals to devise holistic care plans, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are addressed.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and local resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Maintain up-to-date and detailed documentation of patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and patient progress.
  • Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health care and integrate new findings into clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to diverse populations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Sound judgment in clinical decision-making with a commitment to ethical practice.
  • Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of hands-on experience in a clinical mental health setting, specifically dealing with outpatient care.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy modalities preferred but not necessary.
