Job description

POSITION:School Office Secretary


POSITION OPENING: August 17, 2026
SCHEDULE: 9:30am - 6:00pm / with a 30 minute lunch break (FULL-TIME / Hourly)
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide oversight/secretary work for the front school office for a private, Pre-K thru 12th private school on the Southside of Jacksonville, FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include: answering phones, data entry, requesting records, maintaining student files, outbound calls to parents, accepting payments, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:Communicating effectively and clearly with students, parents, and staff; facilitating a meaningful educational environment for students; assist with admissions/enrollment for the school year; tracking essential paper-work related to the school office; perform daily office operations.


QUALIFICATIONS:High-School Diploma Required.


BENEFITS / COMPENSATION:Benefits and compensation include:
