Job description

Summary

At Air Water Gas Solutions Inc., the Territory Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth as the company expands into new markets within the industrial gas sector. This fieldโ€‘based role requires someone who excels at generating leads, building relationships, and driving revenue. The ideal candidate is a proactive, resultsโ€‘driven professional with strong industry awareness and excellent communication skills.

This fieldโ€‘based role works with the Sales and Business Development team and has no direct reports. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory: Rochester, NY.

Position is eligible to participate in the sales incentive program.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market and industry research.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company products, services, and competitors.
  • Track sales activities and performance to meet revenue goals.
  • Manage opportunities and forecasting using Salesforce CRM.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in sales, ideally within industrial gases, specialty chemicals, manufacturing, or related technical industries.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage long sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must reside within the assigned geographic territory to ensure effective customer coverage and responsiveness.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the territory as needed.
