About the Role
Gruve Tech is seeking an experienced Head of Strategic Finance & FP&A (GTM) to lead our global Financial Planning & Analysis function and serve as the primary finance business partner to our Go-to-Market organization. This highly visible leadership role will work closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Services to drive strategic planning, financial forecasting, operational performance, and Board-level reporting. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, SaaS metrics, and business partnering within a high-growth technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Gruve Tech's global FP&A function, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, and rolling forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain long-range financial models to support growth strategy, profitability, and investment decisions.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership and GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, and Services) to provide financial insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and enhance Board-level reporting, executive dashboards, and KPI frameworks for SaaS and professional services.
  • Support strategic initiatives including pricing strategy, business case development, and M&A financial evaluations.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 10+ years of progressive finance and FP&A experience.
  • Proven experience leading FP&A in a high-growth technology, SaaS, or enterprise software company.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and Board-level financial reporting.
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Go-to-Market organizations to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial planning tools, along with exceptional executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or other advanced business degree.
  • Experience in AI, cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, or technology services.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, and modern FP&A platforms (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Pigment).
  • Experience building KPI frameworks and AI-enabled financial dashboards for SaaS and professional services businesses.
  • Strong background supporting strategic initiatives such as pricing strategy, operational improvements, and M&A evaluations.

Salary Range
$180,000 - $220,000 USD
This is a full-time opportunity with Gruve Tech based at our Redwood City, California office. This is an on-site position.
