• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for clients to assess their mental health needs accurately.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client goals and circumstances.
• Offer individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies.
• Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and case conferences to enhance treatment outcomes and professional development.

The clients you will serve at Inner Light Wellness Center come from various backgrounds and experiences, seeking support for a range of mental health challenges. Our practice specializes in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and trauma-related disorders. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their emotional difficulties and develop coping strategies to improve their overall wellbeing.

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy in mental health settings, with a solid understanding of client-centered therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques that support effective treatment outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities that ensure clear and professional interactions.
• Commitment to ethical standards and patient confidentiality in all clinical practices.

• Experience in a remote counseling practice, demonstrating adaptability and proficiency with virtual therapy platforms.
• Specialization or additional training in particular areas such as trauma-informed care or substance use disorders.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary team settings, enhancing collaborative treatment approaches.
