Position Overview

Brightways Recovery Plus, Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, including proactive and crisis intervention strategies tailored to individual client needs.
  • Timely completion of clinical documentation while adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Implement evidence-based practices through tools recommended by our clinical team for consistent and effective patient assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and execute positive behavior support plans, promoting positive outcomes for clients.
  • Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating commitment to quality standards in mental health care.
  • Act as a liaison among service systems, governmental bodies, and community partners to enhance client access to necessary resources.
  • Foster effective communication channels with stakeholders to meet contract obligations and promote the organization’s mission and values.
  • Network with local and national organizations to advocate for mental health programs, identifying potential partnerships and funding sources.
  • Seek out personal and professional growth opportunities through conferences, presentations, and involvement in relevant committees and task forces.
  • Uphold and integrate the mission, values, and philosophy of Brightways Recovery Plus, collaborating with the Clinic Director on any additional responsibilities as required.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking support for various mental health challenges. You will be working with clients affected by emotional health issues, substance abuse problems, developmental impairments, and acquired brain injuries. Our goal is to provide tailored support that recognizes and respects their unique circumstances and empowers them on their journeys to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is a prerequisite.
  • Must possess an independent LMHC license issued by the state board.
  • Proficient in maintaining clinical records and generating requisite reports.
  • Ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated capacity for independent judgment, making decisions grounded in professional knowledge.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in working with diverse populations in outpatient settings is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and documentation requirements is preferred.
