South Western Behavioral Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and ensure precise clinical diagnoses.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, adapting interventions to meet the distinct goals and emotional needs of clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary, particularly for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards to safeguard client information.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, involving psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to create a coordinated and comprehensive care experience for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for client needs and rights as appropriate.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops to remain updated on best practices and emerging trends in the field of mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population ranging from children and adolescents to adults representing various backgrounds and lifestyles. This role requires a nuanced understanding of cultural competencies and the ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet individual client needs, empowering them on their path to improvement.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) in Florida.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities, with a strong foundation in treatment methodologies.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, showcasing individual and group therapy skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong adherence to ethical and professional standards within the field.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient clinical setting is favored, but not mandatory for entry-level positions.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
