• Conduct thorough mental health assessments while considering the unique cultural backgrounds of each patient, establishing personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating culturally-informed practices.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience amongst participants.
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with fellow practitioners, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and support, effectively managing mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment pathways, and useful community resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
• Keep abreast of latest research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy to ensure quality care.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Demonstrable experience providing individual and group therapy with an emphasis on culturally competent methodologies.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, able to handle high-pressure situations tactfully.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for building rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the necessary computer skills to manage telehealth platforms effectively.
• Dedication to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining clear professional boundaries.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
