• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by students and their families.
• Design and implement individualized service plans tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each client, monitoring progress collaboratively.
• Facilitate individual and family counseling sessions while employing trauma-informed care methods to help clients navigate various life challenges.
• Identify and connect clients with community resources and support networks, ensuring a robust safety net is in place.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as situations arise.
• Engage in collaboration with school staff and external agencies to create a coordinated approach to service provision and client advocacy.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and the services provided by Nurturing Minds Counseling.
• Contribute to case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders involved in a client's care are informed and aligned on treatment goals.

This position primarily supports school-aged children, adolescents, and their families. The LCSW will address a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex trauma-related issues, ensuring that each client receives care that respects their unique experiences and backgrounds. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
